About
JESSICA PETERS, MA, LMFT
Reaching out for support can feel challenging, especially when you’re used to handling things on your own.
I understand—I've been there too. You’ve talked to friends, read the self-help articles, and done your research, but something still feels off. The change you’re hoping for hasn’t come, and you’re ready for something more. That’s where I come in.
For over 13 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and parents in both private practice and school-based settings. I believe that at the heart of meaningful therapy is a strong, trusting relationship. My experience spans the nonprofit sector, public and independent schools, and leadership roles as a school administrator. These diverse experiences shape my approach, allowing me to offer a well-rounded perspective that supports deep, effective relational work.
I’m here to work alongside you, helping you uncover what’s getting in the way of the life and relationships you want to create. Together, we’ll explore new ways of thinking, feeling, and being. My approach to therapy is consistent and intentional while also being approachable and down-to-earth. I’m here to listen and support you and I can also be direct when it’s needed, offering clarity and new perspectives. And yes, we may even share a laugh or two along the way—because healing doesn’t have to be all serious.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a space for growth, self-discovery, and sometimes even lightness. If you’re ready to begin this journey, I’d welcome the opportunity to connect.
