Relationship Counseling
for couples in Los Gatos, San Jose, and virtually throughout CA
Real changes starts with one honest conversation at a time. Let’s get to the heart of what’s going on.
You didn’t think it would get to this point. Maybe things have been slowly unraveling for a while. Or maybe there was a moment—an argument, a silence, a betrayal—that made you realize something’s off. You’re not sure how you got here, and you’re even less sure how to get back to the connection you used to have. Or maybe you’re realizing that you’ve never really had that connection in the way you hoped.
This is where relationship counseling in San Jose can make a difference.
Whether you’re showing up alone or as a couple, you’re not here to sugarcoat things. You want to talk about what’s really going on—and get to work on something that actually helps.
Real help for real relationship struggles.
Maybe the communication feels like walking on eggshells—or more like walking into landmines. The same fight keeps happening over and over, and you leave every conversation feeling misunderstood or shut down. Maybe emotional intimacy feels just out of reach.
It’s confusing. It’s exhausting. And you might be wondering:
Is this just how relationships are?
Are we doomed to always feel like this?
Why can’t we just talk like we used to?
Here’s the thing: You’re not broken. But something isn’t working—and ignoring it won’t fix it. That’s where relationship counseling comes in.
You’re Not Broken. But Something Isn’t Working.
We’ll Talk About What’s Really Going On—And What To Do About It
This isn’t therapy where we just nod and smile. We get real. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface—how your pasts, communication patterns, and expectations are shaping your connection today.
You’ll learn:
How to speak so your partner actually hears you
How to listen without immediately going into defense mode
How to rebuild (or build for the first time) trust, intimacy, and emotional safety
How to show up in your relationship without losing yourself
We’ll look at the full picture, not just who said what last night. And we’ll make a plan for how to move forward—whether that’s working toward healing and reconnection, or honestly deciding if this relationship is the right fit long-term.
MEET YOUR THERAPIST
Hi, I’m Jessica, and I can help.
’m Jessica Peters, and I specialize in helping couples who feel like they’re at a crossroads. With weekly couples therapy sessions, we’ll work together to stop the downward spiral, address the pain and mistrust, and rebuild a connection that feels safe and strong. We’ll take a close look at the patterns and behaviors that are keeping you stuck, and together, we’ll create a plan to break free from them.
This isn’t just about managing conflict—it’s about getting to the root of why things have gotten so hard and making changes that last. I’ll help you understand the deeper dynamics in your relationship, including the ways past wounds might be influencing how you show up with each other now. Through this work, you’ll start to feel seen, heard, and valued in ways that create real connection.
Weekly Sessions for Momentum: We’ll meet consistently to keep the work moving forward and ensure you stay on track. This isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about lasting change.
Safe, Structured Space: Both of you will have room to share your experiences and feelings, no matter how messy or complicated they seem. I’ll guide you through the tough conversations so you can truly hear and understand each other.
Tools to Rebuild Trust and Connection: From practical strategies to deeper emotional insights, you’ll leave each session with clear steps to help you reconnect and move forward together.
